Dear Customers,
On Friday, 13/12/2024, a DB freight train collided with a truck loaded with construction debris close Marienborn, Germany. 1 of the consequences of this serious accident is harm to the railway tracks and sleepers over a dimension of about 100 meters.
For this reason, the line has been completely closed in the affected section and only detours are available, but with various restrictions. It is so essential to anticipate delays and irregularities of global and home trains between the hinterland and the ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven, but besides in connections from/to Rotterdam and Duisburg.
The damaged section of the line was cleaned over the weekend and planning is now underway for its repairs and reopening, which we can anticipate on Wednesday at the earliest.
