Dear Customers,
Based on information from the Railway Infrastructure manager of the Slovak Republic (ŽSR), we would like to inform you that the railway line on the Lanzhot CZ – Kuty SR section has been closed since 5 p.m. yesterday evening due to a broken cable of the signalling equipment.
Due to this event, we are presently experiencing delays on the way from/to Dunajska Streda, which has a crucial impact on our another connections to/from Hungary.
Despite this extraordinary situation, we are trying to dispatch our trains with the least possible delay. The service is expected to resume today, 16/10/2024 by 6:00 p.m. Further trains will be planned with respect to capacity of the railway infrastructure in Slovakia/Czechia (ŽSR).
We would besides like to inform you that services via METRANS BUCS-Budapest terminal are affected by delays. The main reasons are the delayed connections from the Adriatic, as well as the restrictions from the north described above.
The Soroksari Road marshalling yard is presently overcrowded, due to the unfavourable condition of the Gubacsi Bridge, restrictions inactive persist. These circumstances importantly affect the regular operation of our trains.
We are constantly monitoring the situation between the sections in question and will keep you informed in case of fresh information.
