Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you about the consequences of the extraordinary event, the head-on collision of trains, which occurred on 05/06/2024 at night on the main railway corridor in Pardubice.
The investigation of the accident and the repair of the railway infrastructure will require suspension of operations for respective days. Detour routes outside Pardubice are not available at the moment. According to information from the Railway Administration, they are working on an alternate operational solution.
In connection with this event, delight anticipate a crucial hold for all services between SK, HU, AT, CZ routed via Metrans terminal Česká Třebová from/to the Northern German ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, then Rotterdam and Duisburg.
Furthermore, we would like to inform you that this event will besides affect traffic on detour routes that were planned in connection with the closure in the Elbtal Valley (07/06/2024 – 10/06/2024), as we informed you in NL No. 39/2024, dated 03/06/2024.
