Dear Customers,
In connection with the ongoing meteorological conditions and dense rainfall in the confederate part of Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, we are forced to inform you that there has been a crucial simplification / stoppage of rail traffic since the weekend caused by extended flooding.
Within the scope of our services, it mainly affects the connections
- to and from Austria – services via Linz, Krems from / to all ports in the METRANS network
- to and from the Czech Republic – services via Ostrava from / to all ports in the METRANS network
- transit trains northern ports – CZ, SK, HU via Pasov v.v.
- Gdansk – Ostrava v.v.
- Malaszewice – Ceska Trebova v.v.
Ostrava terminal is inaccessible by rail due to the flood situation.
Terminal Usti nad Labem will be closed from 10:00 a.m. due to advanced water level on the Elbe river.
The way to the northern ports is inactive passable, but we are waiting for the improvement of the flood situation on the Elbe, which has not yet reached its maximum and could paralyse or completely halt the traffic.
We proceed to monitor the situation and will keep you informed.
