Dear Customers,

Despite the expected stabilisation of traffic on the German, Austrian and Czech infrastructure, we regret to inform you again about the following extraordinary situation on the:

German railways:

• At the Ports of Hamburg and Bremerhaven, the dispositive arrival confirmation strategy has been reintroduced.
• Unannounced closure on the way Dresden – Knoten on 22/09/2023 from 7:00 p.m. to 04:00 a.m.
• Lack of dispatchers on any railway sections.

Austrian railways:

• The Vienna – St. Pölten section is completely closed to freight trains during the day, with limited passage only at night.

This regulation affects services via LINZ, KREMS and additional services to another terminals in Austria. The Salzburg service is in full operation.

For the above reasons, we are forced to halt trains that have already been dispatched again and to plan fresh trains ad hoc according to the available capacity. We anticipate irregularities in the timetable, which will lead to expanding delays.
We are inactive in contact with all authorities active to get additional slots and alternate routes. In view of the planned restrictions and additional closures imposed to deal with the consequences of flooding or another urgent reasons, we will proceed to deal with this situation in the coming days.

We apologise that we cannot bring you better news, but unfortunately these circumstances are beyond our control.
