Dear Customers,
Today, after 3:00 a.m., a train collided with a individual on the line between Magdeburg and Hanover. For this reason, rail traffic in both directions was suspended. Export trains to northern German ports, Rotterdam, and Duisburg were incapable to cross the German border and had to wait for permission. The operation was resumed at 7:22 a.m., trains slow started moving again before 9:00 a.m.
This incidental one more time slowed down rail traffic in Germany, which is inactive suffering from the effects of the fresh snowstorm. The HPA continues to control entry into Hamburg, which prevents us from expanding capacity and importantly disrupts train circulation.
Our client Service is available to answer any questions you may have about your circumstantial shipments.
