Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you that construction works have been taking place since the early morning hours on the railway line Hannover/Lehrte /Peine. Due to these works, the section is presently accessible to passenger traffic only. Construction activities are besides ongoing in the Leipzig area. any trains have been successfully rerouted, while others had to be stopped and are awaiting approval to proceed their journey. As a consequence of this complicated operational situation and the related shortage of resources, we have one more time been forced to cancel respective trains. According to the latest available information, operations are expected to resume during the course of this afternoon. In any case, this will consequence in further delays for all services to/from the North German ports, Rotterdam and Duisburg.

The first situation ahead of the already announced weekend closure in the Elbe Valley is so far from favourable. The complete closure in Dresden from 14 February to 16 February 2026 will restrict services between CZ, SK, HU, AT, the Balkans and the North German ports, Rotterdam and Duisburg. We have planned diversion routes via Cheb/Schirnding, Lichkov/Horka and Chałupki/Horka. Passau is not accessible due to track rehabilitation works on the Nuremberg – Regensburg line. Unfortunately, the diversion routes do not have adequate capacity.

Gdańsk: Adverse weather conditions are slowing down and limiting handling operations. Services in both directions are presently experiencing delays of about 10 hours. The capacity of planned slots at the Baltic Hub terminal has been reduced by 10% for this and next week. Import capacities are full booked until 7 March 2026 (inclusive). It is inactive not possible to request an extraordinary train.
