Dear Customers,

The operational situation in Germany remains highly challenging. Snow is falling in both Hamburg and Bremerhaven, and both port infrastructure managers are controlling access to the ports. any port terminals are handling cargo with crucial delays and are limiting their available slots. Due to a blockage by HPA, we presently have 13 trains held in transit to Hamburg. This number includes only METRANS services and only those bound for Hamburg. The capacity of diversion routes on rail sections affected by track closures is at a minimum. Imports from Wilhelmshaven are presently not being given rail slots. Across all services, peculiarly those to Hamburg, we are continuously forced to cancel trains. We are incapable to meet the planned time slots at contractual inland terminals in Germany, which is causing further increases in delays. The above circumstances importantly reduce our planning capabilities. The circulation of train sets, locomotives, and personnel is presently being managed in emergency mode, depending on the available infrastructure capacity.

Gdańsk: Snowfall and mostly adverse weather conditions are slowing down and restricting handling operations. During the night, a crane malfunction occurred at the Baltic Hub terminal, making any areas inaccessible. Services in both directions are delayed; for the next scheduled trains, we anticipate at least +24 hours. It is likely that the terminal will further reduce the capacity of planned slots. Import capacity is full booked until 05 March 2026 (inclusive). It is inactive not possible to request an extraordinary train.
