The main subject of today’s newsletter is Hamburg. Hopes for a quicker improvement in the situation thanks to Monday’s cancellation of train entry regulations rapidly faded yesterday evening. At around 6:00 p.m. on 4 March 2026, a abroad train derailed at the Waltershof Hamburg station, damaging six tracks. The HPA immediately resumed entry control.
