Sytuacja operacyjna w Europie Północnej – Aktualizacja nr 4

Dear Customers,

After respective days, the weather has yet stopped complicating rail traffic. However, all services in the north of the METRANS network – Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Rotterdam, Duisburg – are inactive affected. The German railway infrastructure is congested and the circulation of trains and personnel is importantly disrupted. Connections to/from ports are experiencing crucial delays and it will take any time before they return to regular schedules.

Gdańsk is presently operating with a 12-hour delay, but the outlook is positive.

The most complicated situation persists on services to/from Hamburg. 12 trains are inactive stopped on the way to the port. However, 8 of them should arrive in Hamburg today, as they have been granted entry by the HPA. Terminals are operating with delays, and imports are gradually departing for their destinations.
