Dear Customers,
After strikes that took place last week in Hamburg and Bremerhaven, another 1 is now taking place in all North German ports at the same time. The work stoppage at the terminals began at 6:00 a.m. present and is due to last until 6:00 a.m. next day 18/06/2024.
We managed to catch up with the train delays caused by the strikes and lockout in the Elbe Valley last week, but for Bremerhaven, where there was a strike last Wednesday as well. Today’s informing strike by port workers will make the situation importantly worse again.
Please take this into account erstwhile planning your shipments. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you informed of developments.
