Change in Toll Charges in Hungary

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you that, according to a decree issued by the Hungarian Ministry of Construction and Transport, the basic infrastructure rate will change as of 01/01/2026, with motorway tolls expanding by 4.3% and main road tolls by up to 50%.

At the same time, the network of toll sections will besides be expanded from 01/07/2026, based on an amendment to the decree.

From 01/01/2026, there will besides be an increase in fines for unauthorised usage of roads and another selected provisions in the field of road freight transport.

No authoritative calculations are presently available, but we stay in contact with the applicable authorities. These changes are significant, and we will be forced to reflect them in our prices. We will inform you about the circumstantial adjustments and their scope as shortly as possible.
