Zamknięcie mostu Gubacsi na Węgrzech – Aktualizacja nr 2

Dear Customers,

With respect to our Newsletter No. 76/2024 from 12/08/2024, where we informed you about the planned rail traffic regulation on the MÁV network, we would like to inform you about the current situation regarding the Gubacsi Bridge.

According to officially confirmed information from MÁV Zrt., the reconstruction works on the Gubacsi Bridge have been successfully carried out during the erstwhile closures and further closures planned until the end of 2024 have been cancelled. However, the traffic regulation across the bridge remains in force.

Despite these circumstances, the situation on the connection from/to Budapest is inactive not perfect and we have a large volume of containers in the network waiting to be delivered to Budapest – BUCS terminal, especially from Dunajska Streda- DUST terminal. However, by cancelling the closure we will effort to increase our capacity in this direction.
