Sytuacja operacyjna w porcie w Hamburgu i na północnych korytarzach

With respect to our newsletter No. 078/2025 from 21/07/2025, we would like to inform you about the improvement of the situation.

Unfortunately, since last week, conditions for departures and arrivals to/from the Port of Hamburg have not improved, and the situation remains very serious. Entry is inactive only permitted with the approval of the Hamburg Port Authority. Due to infrastructure congestion, there is inactive a deficiency of capacity for parking trains, which is causing their accumulation in transit towards Hamburg. This severe slowdown in train traffic besides has a negative impact on the smooth flow of our connections to Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven, Rotterdam, and on national connections within Germany.

The hold in terminal processing is causing crucial delays to import trains. At the same time, it forces the cancellation of another import slots, for which we will not receive compensation, and shipment planning is so being postponed.

This situation naturally affects all our services to and from North German ports, including German national services. We will proceed to keep you informed of developments.
